Oculus at World Trade Center

Project: Oculus at World Trade Center

Location: New York, NY

Designer: Westfield Labs

Partner: Creative Realities

Boyd partnered with the Westfield labs team to engineer & build custom, double-sided digital kiosks for the Oculus World Trade Center Transportation Hub and associated retail complex at Ground Zero in NYC. This project was commissioned by the Port Authority of NY. Boyd engineered one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge kiosks equipped with proximity sensors, tap-to-phone beacons, illuminated logos, positive internal air pressure and sensors (due to magnetic train brake dust) and P-CAP touch interactivity. Boyd Sign Systems is immensely proud to have contributed an American-designed and manufactured solution for this beautiful facility, where tens of millions of people pass through each year.
